I have a Precision Industries Multi disc lockup convertor. This past winter I made some changes to the car with no changes to trans or convertor. Now that the car is makeing more power I notice that the convertor drop farther when it locks @ wot than previsiously. Does this mean that I have more slippage with more power? Last year I would lock @ 5600 @ the top of 3rd. and it would drop to 4900. Now I lock @ 6000 and it drops to 4700. I also notice that I am now locking sooner (distance wise) than before. In other words I am in 3rd and locked much farther from the end than before. Thanks

Sure sounds like the added power is causing it stall higher. I'll bet that if you up the boost a few psi you see even more rpm.
