Convertor/Tranny Toasted. Need Conv. Advice

Tranny/conv. is making a scraping jingling type noise. Checked fluid and it is gray/burnt. Tranny shop says conv. has broken fins. I am going to get a strong tranny rebuild and want to put a good 12 inch convertor back in it. Tranny mech said fine if I want to get the conv. but be sure to get a furnace brazed one. Are the red stripe convertors good solid furnace brazed convertors? What would be a convertor for my application of street driving but playing hard. I do drive it hard for the fun of it. TA 49 turbo and no plans to go larger. I just want a good solid 12 inch 2500 to 2800 convertor furnace brazed.
Any Suggestions? Gotta have a convertor.

I filled out the tech sheet on the web site and tried to send info on Friday but couldn't get it to go thru. Your convertor is the convertor I have in mind.
I don't know much about convertors. I am relying on my tranny guy. Is that a furnace brazed convertor?
