Coolant for hot climates

I need to do a coolant change, I will use Distilled water & RMI for sure. It gets hot where I am at, So would I be better off mixing a 70% water/30% coolant? Just thinking that the extra water would provide more cooling I know alot of people just do a 50/50 mix, I'm looking for a little more cooling power, I'm not to worried about the winter and freezing. What about 100% distilled water with Water Wetter and the RMI???

I am running a 160 t-stat and temps on the sm are 190-205 with the a/c off, when it's over 85 out. Never overheats or boils the overflow. The orig owner had the radiator rodded out. I want to see if I can get better results through a coolant change -vs- a new radiator$$.

Water and RMI will run cooler than any antifreeze mixture.

If you use RMI, no need to waste $$$ on Waterwetter. RMI contains a surficant that WW copied. BIG plus, RMI continually cleans the system.

As far as rodding the radiator, if it is an original, 15 year old one, it was a waste of money. Do yourself a big favor and get a new radiator or core. Your operating temps tell the story that the rad is NOT doing its job.

Thanks for the info. I would not waste money on rodding a T-Buick radiator, the orig owner did that. If a change of distilled water and RMI does not help much (crossing fingers), I will be sending you $245 and my radiator.
