hello people; Off the subject but on the cooling one. I wonder if cleaning up the cooling liquid flow area in the intake manifold would help in any way. I have an intake that I've been cleaning up and want to get a wire brush that fits on the end of a drill and run it thru that flow area to hopefully help in cooling. That area is pretty good but I wonder if changing it would be of any help?

More time in the radiator cooling, the more time in the motor heating....
Argg is right. More flow = more cooling.
This is why they make higher speed fans.
This is why they make high flow pumps.
I have an F body rad with 160 t stat and factory stock fans, and my car runs 170 all day. IF you got your car to run any cooler without a t stat, would you want it cooler anyways? Your car should NEVER run too long below 170 anyways so I'm not sure what your goal is. If it's a strip only car then maybe.
All I know is, my buddy is an amatuer circle track racer and uses a 350 crate motor in an old monte for his ride, and his car runs wayy hotter without the t stat...
