I recently got an original BRF tranny, but the torque converter it came with has two stickers on it--One says "Remanufactured for General Motors" and the other sticker says "CBBF". There is no D5 stamping anywhere on the torque converter. Is this the correct D5 stock GM torque converter??

Thanks

cbbf is the correct conververter .it is a 2050 stall with a 14 blade stator.

Thanks Chris, but how come there is no D5 stamping on the converter? Is it because this converter was rebuilt by GM and they used a different cover? Thanks
