Proper fuel (either really high octane, 112+ or alky and pump gas)

with a little work i'll be using E85, should be enough octane for now!

Great idea but e85 works in the short run but will destroy your entire fuel system over time. Ethanol is very corrosive which is why all new E85 cars have stainless steel fueling systems which can handle it. Our cars can't handle E85 over the long term because in the end it will trash your entire stock fuel system from the tank to the injecters. The energy content of E85 is way low. That is why I will never run E85 on my car. I rn 93 octane with meth. My 2 cents. Brad

i know E85 isnt a long term solution but for racing on and off it will work for now. high octane gas isnt the easiest to come by around here. premium fuel around here is 91 octane. but im in the middle of BFE, Iowa. I can use the 91 octance and some octane boost coudnt i? any ideas

The new ZO6 is a handfull if you don't have a lot of seat time. If you can run high 12's low 13's try out the next Z06 you come across. The ZO6 has run high 10's stock but a lot of guys are having trouble making mid 12's. It's all about the driver. An average (stock) ZO6 with a good driver is capable of mid 11's and low 11's with a top noch driver. With headers, DR's and tuning, most will run into the 10's. Awesome car with the right driver.

Ahh, talking about Ranger's 10.85 @ 135 run on Drag Radials. Yes, the 06-07 ZO6's are animals. Mustang is a good short term goal, topping the ZO6 could come it time.
