couple of questions

Can we run windshield washer fluid for alcohol if it is rated at -20/-25 deg? Does the Alkycontrol reservoir have to be mounted with the clips/brackets that come with the kit? Do the clips serve a purpose besides holding the bottle in place (do they assist with coolant flowing back in radiator)? Does it have to be mounted horizontally on a hot air?

I would not trust any winshield shield washer fluid. I've heard of it being used, but would never use it myself....As for the Alkycontrol reservoir it doesn't have to be mounted in the craddle and I believe julio likes to put it in front of the battery tucked part way under the top of the core support...As long as the flow to the bottle is not cut off by a crimped hose or the bottle is upside down it won't matter....

I dont use the brackets to mount the mini overflow. I find they can become brittle over time and break.... I include them as it comes from the MFG with them, in the event someone wanted to use them.

Case in point, I recieved a box today from Cottons and it had like 20 brackets sent to me as they dont install them either. Anyone need brackets let me know

Straight methanol. Now technically on a HotAir you have enough temp to practically make anything work. The kit wont care what you use. And if you wanted to expeiment with 50/50, 60/40, etc.. do so at very moderate boost levels and see how it responds.
