The phone number comes back as a tow lot...

They should be able to get a bill of sale so you can get a clear title, thats how it works in kansas... states vary.

4500, it doesnt look horrible, paint looks decent.

If it was local, i would at least go look at it, 1 of 1550 !

BW:)

Nice find, I wonder how hard it would be to get that title right?:frown:

In RI we don't need titles on anything over 10yrs. old, probably would be able to register it with the current title or if there is a previous registration that will work.

Someone is going to get a good deal on this car, even though it's going to cost some money to invest and a good bit of work if you're handy. ;)

I know a few years ago i'd have loved to found one like this to bring back to life and own a piece of Pontiac musclecar history.

I just called on it. Nice guy. He seemed honest and had a lot of info on it. The car has under 100K miles on it. It turns out it was a NC car and someone bought it, swapped parts off it and sold it to him. He said it's solid. I guess it would being as it's from NC. Parts should be there but swapped out from another car.

As far as the motor, he said the seal for the oil fliter broke and it lost it's oil. He was willing to sell a complete GN motor for an extra $1000. The only difference with the GN motor I was told was it has different heads.

The down side is, it was used as a parts car I think mainly for interior parts. Again, he told me all the parts should be there but they were swapped out for good parts for another car. I'm going to be in Mass. the weekend after next so I might go out to look at it.

Go nuts. I don't think it's really worth anything. It's already been used as a parts car and the guy who owns it now couldn't get anything usefull off it for his own TTA and now wants $4700 for it.

Scroll up to my last post, that link is of this same car and it has a salvage title.

fast

beat me to it quick6 --it sounded too familiar so I just looked for it here ..

Thanks for the link. The body looks great. It still might be a good roller for someone it's just a little discouraging that's it's already been used for parts.

And i posted it here last night :) At least the body is in fair condition, the salvage title does not scare me as long as it was done correctly

It would make a perfect race car, or a rebuilder of any sort.

No rust is a added plus, it can always be restored, and washed of the branded title. Some states will vary.

Just to clear things up this car has car fax history to have been in a accident, no salvage on the title.
