I think i figured out my no-start problem. I took off the new crank sensor and realized that the new one was adjusted differently than my old one. Hmmn. there is a groove on the small sliding part, and a raise bump on the mounting braket. Do i line these up? Or should I set it o the exact position of my old one? The bump on the new one is to the left of the groove, and on the old one, the bump is to the right of the groove. It would make sense to match it up wit the old one, but i just want to double check. TIA

put it on the motor and turn motor till one of the plates are inside it and set it till its centered up and tighten it up...easy enough

There's TWO slots on the crank sensor that you can fit the trigger wheel between...you want the OUTERMOST slot, with the black plastic tab!

Here's a picture: (don't mind the filth!)
