Crossover donut gaskets

Does anybody use these on stock headers

?? I have never seen or heard of these. The factory headers are designed to match the crossover. So by factory design no donut gasket needed.

My car had them when I bought it but I took them out . I assumed they were stock.

There was nothing there from the factory as far as I know. Ive always had good luck smearing a bit of copper permatex around the seal and bolting it up. Only way they leak is when theyre overtightened and the flange goes out of round.
