cruise contrlo & heater ac fan cluster

I have a 2004 regal and the cruise control and the lights to the heater ac fan cluster quit working at the same time. the climate control is working but i cannot change the temp or turn on the defroster,and no cruise control at all.I hope someone can point me in the right direction

There is a writeup out there on how to fix this. I had the same thing happen to mine way back when. You need to take the panel out and resolder the little resistors back on.
