Cruise control switch?

I'm not getting even a light coming on the I hit the cruise switch, lots of folks have mentioned a switch under the lower dash panel, I looked and there's three of them, anyone remember which one it it? Or what color wires come out of it?
Is it possible that the stalk on the column went bad too?
Are they still available from GM?

One of the main failures of the cruise control is a mis adjusted brake switch.
When my cruise control stopped working, the wiring to the stalk broke, and required repacing the stalk.
The stalk is still available from GM, but it only comes in black, not a chrome and black combination. You ca go to NAPA autoparts and get a reproduction unit that looks like the factory stalk.
