Yea.. Brian talked my wife into one for her car.. Thanks Brian!!! Haha! Phil.

Very nice! I need to get one of those, definitely before the next cross country trip.

If I remember correctly there is a short and longer version. For those of you that have them, can you point out some of the things you like/dislike about your version? If I am mistaken about there being 2 different versions available, just set me straight cause that will make my decision a lot easier! Thanks!

I JUST bought a long version this weekend. I didn't know there was a short version as well. The long version covers up the ash tray (and switches inside). I might have picked the short version, had I known that. Still, I can probably just relocate the switches to somewhere else. Not a big deal.

Brian talked me into one too at the Ohio show. I test fitted both the long and short versions in the grey TR that was parked next to him. The long version was better as it was closer to the dash, thus enabling you to rest more of your arm/elbo on it. It does however cover the ashtray. I got the two tone black/grey version. I also bought the cup holder for my other car with the 60/40 bench seats. It fits in the ashtray bracket under the radio. It was only $35 and fits/looks great!

I asked the manufacturer to come up with a shorty version since we also sell switch panels for the ashtray area that is covered up by the regular version. A little less area to rest your elbow on but still works great to me. That is what I am running on my car. The armrest lid is cushier than the other console riser that was out there in the past where you had to remove your stock lid and slide the riser into the open compartment.

Trying to convince them to do a shorty version WITHOUT cupholders for those people who wouldn't even think of having beverages in their cars.:)

Chris on the longer version you can just slide it back 3" the end will be the same as the shorty version. I like the fact the larger one has more storage & can be slid forward when switches are not in use. The simply slid back a few inches to make it functional. If you really just have to have a short version send it to me & I'll send you out the short version.

Phil now you know you wanted the console riser, you can blame her but we both know. I'm assuming she got the full length one so the dog could ride right beside her
