Hey everyone!

I'm new here and am slowly acquiring turbo parts for my custom turbo project on a 1994 3.4v6 Camaro. I plan on running one manifold to the other side, joining the two, then running to the turbo. I have a 86-87 style GN turbo.

Questions:

1) I have an adjustable rod on the wastegate. Is that stock? How do I know what it is set at/how do I test it?

2) When the manifolds join into 1 pipe, where should I lead it to? Into the 3 bolt flange on the turbo, or to the 2 bolt flange that has the wastegate flap deal in it?

3) I have a 3" pipe that bolts to the 2 bolt flange. Is this a downpipe?

Thanks for your help:)

Cliffnotes: where the exhaust goes into the turbo is a 3 bolt flange, and where it comes out is a 2 bolt, correct? How do I know how to set the wastegate? What is the size of the oil feed line?

The 3 bolt flange is the "in" to the turbo. The 2 bolt side is the "out" The pipe that joins to this is as you said known as a down pipe.If there is a adjustment nut on the wastegate rod its been modified. Stockers were not adjustable.
