I have a Cyberdyne dash out of the wifes 87 T. It's used dash, with the complete cluster, not just the board. I have all the sensors that go with it. Everything works. I have no instructions,BUT I payed careful attention when removing. All wires are labeled with they wire they get spliced too.

The harness has some solder and but connectors. I would redo most of them before installing. The installer hacked up the cars harness pretty good:mad: ,I got it all doctered up:D

$450 shipped

paypal,MO

now if i already have a digital dash would i still need to splice all of those wired on my car or just drop in and go?

they need diffrent sensor then the factory digital dash has. wish i had the money i would pick it up.

I have no idea, I have never installed(or would) and aftermarket dash in a digital dash TR.:)

You'd still need to splice, and you'd need a 3Bar map(Digi dashes did have them, I think ???) to get the boost/vacuum reading, as well as the senders for oil, water and speedo sender(all available at Jegs/Summit)

I have the speedo, oil and water senders not the 3 bar map.

I have a new GM 3 bar Map sensor ( $ 50 shipped ) and all the Cyberdyne instructions. I had to send mine back to Cyberdyne. Digital dash GN's took a different Cyberdyne dashboard . The spklicing isn't bad. Three leads in the boost / tach connection which is a B to locate and two leads for gas level which could come off the three prongs the stock gage plugs into. Sadly, mine wasn't repairable Please reply using glal@wowway.com

What does it look like

What does it look like all lit up? I have seen the pictures of the dash on your site, but that is not a good indication of what it will look like lit up.

Also what gauges does it include. How do you set the odometer correctly? What do I have to do to make it work with my car? I have a Canadian model so it reads in km not miles.

Hot rod gary does your reply mean that you will sell the 3 bar thing and the instructions?

How hard is this to install, I have never done anything like this before so it needs to come with very good instructions-

Thanks,

Alan

Alan,in hindesite I should've take pics with it lit up before I removed it. All the leds, etc are there. If you do a search on Cyberdyne dash,Grumpy had pics of one early this year(lit up).The words oil,H2O volts etc are under the leds. They only come on with the dash also. IF I remember correctly oil and H2O were a little faded from the Sun. I spent very little time in the car with this dash, car is my wifes.

I also don't have any directions,in the pics you can see the wires are clearly labeled with where they go on an 87 anologe car.

You can not set the milage,it read about 22,000 when I pulled it. Maybe Cyberdyne can update it to the canadain stuff and provide complete directions. I bet someone hear has directions and can post'em.:)

Any other questions feel free to ask:biggrin:

guages

Guages are Oil,Boost,Volts,H2O,gas,speedo,tach. Someone correct me if I left some off.

The actual readings are bright, the words are getting faded. They look like inserts that stick on the board itself.
