I have acquired a CZ valve body (2 actually), and a new plate for it, to go in the generic 200-4r I plan to build for my GN. I need a governor for it. Do I NEED a true CZ governor? Will any performance governor with the smaller weight size work with it, or maybe even a ground down low performance governor? This is a long term project, the one in the car is just fine at this point, but I want to build something down the road that I can tinker with without ruining the calibration of the original trans. I have plenty of time to locate a performance gov. if I really need to use one. Thanks in advance.

it must be a performance governor or it will disrupt original calibrations.

Wow that was a quick reply.

Okay so it must be a performance governor. Can it be any governor that has the two vastly different weight sizes as shown on gnttype.org, or must it be a "CZ" to work right?

How much would it cost me to buy one from you Chris?

Where could I pck up the correct gear for it if it is sold without?

And, not to be a pain, but why won't an OZ, or BQ, or CR gov work?

Thank you for your help.
