convertor in my '86 T-type has the #6 all the way around the outside. Any one know what it is?

If it hasn't been modified, then it should be around a 1,397 stall from a 5.0 or 5.7 application. Is there a sticker near the center hub or crank pilot? If there is, this could tell more about the converter.

There is a sticker, but I can't read it. The trans. had been redone befor I got the car. I assume they put in the wrong converter. At leasr now I know what it is from. And yes, it spools NOT. thanks for your help.

low stall.no good for a turbo application.for your 44 use a 3200 to 3400 and 3600 for the 63.
