You know that stripping wires with your teeth and wrapping it around loose fender screws will eventually lead to trouble.

Maybe all under-hood connections should involve dielectric silicone. It sure helps on motorcycles.

Same or similar stuff to the black goo they stuff in the relays under the hood in our cars.

Got a couple tubs of it out of the dumpster at work when they were cleaning up.

Haven't needed any just yet however.

I try to solder everything and then cover it with a big wad of sticky black Scotch 33 tape, good for 15 years at least.

Heatshrink man heatshrink.Looks good and works great

Takes too long and only works good when the wires are the same or similar gauge.

Always covered with tape or cheesy plastic loom anyway.

I use it when I premake harnesses however.
