Dash light gremlin

When I turn on my headlights or even just parking lights; the RPM and Boost LEDs go out along with the radio display and dash illumination peanut bulbs. Mkes it tough to drve at night not knowing how fast I am going.

Dimmer still seems to function as floor illumination lights are good.

I swapped out the headlight/parking light switch and no change. Took dimmer switch out and still no change.

Any ideas guys???.

What year car? Does the car have twilight sentinel?

Check the Instrument Lamps fuse, or whatever it's called on whatever year car you have.

1984 Buick Regal Grand National. I will check fuses but since LEDs for boost and rpm and radio display all function until I turn on headlights lead me away from fuses. If fuse was blown for those items wouldn't they be non-functional?

Do the parking lamps work? Check the Tail Lamps fuse as well, and the Gauge Fuse.
