Scanmaster Intializes With 2.0 On Left Side Then Reads Nothing.
It Has Firm Connection At Computer Along With Ground And Power Source.
It had been operating fine, just stopped working. I've had it for several years.
Any Suggestions?

the 2.0 coming on for a second is the self test. If it does not display after that it usually means it is getting no data from the ECM. If the connection is good try another ECM or send it to us for testing (no charge)

Recall

Just installed a new Scan Master spits out correct info but will not recall. Makes it hard to tune. Need advise Thanks! Chavo:confused:

No recall

Went over like you mentioned and registered. I would log in and it would say thank you for logging in. Go to write a thread and then it would say you are not logged in. One time I was writing and introducing myself as they suggest went to send and message and it kicked me out. Your not logged in. My ScanMaster won't recall and Full Throttle who makes the SM kicks me out. Having logging problems.

Maybe you could start the thread by asking the same question for me and then at least I might get some responces as to why there is no recall. Appreciate it if you'd do that for me .Thanks Chavo:biggrin:

Sure thing. Here you go

You need to over 4 volts on the TPS to get it to capture the high knock and low O2, contact Jason AT fullthrottlespeed dot com. and he will help you with your log in problem

Thanks Mike will do. I'll go out later and try another WOT run.Mike in just checking static TPS setting i.e. ignition on motor not running I get .42 and 4.60. One of the runs yesterday I thought I had her smashed to the floor in 3rd and I saw 4.5 degrees and backed off immediatelyand that was with alky on, hit recall and notha. Next run I maxed out alky and did a WOT run in 4th no knock, but no recall of 02's. I'll turn down the boost and put my foot thru the floor board and see what happens. Thanks for your help sir!

Hey Randy, you don't want to necessarily max out the knob on the alky, you want just enough to suppress the knock, not any more. The adjustment knob effects the spray more than you'd think. How much timing & boost are you at so far!

EDIT: depending on how much timing you're running, you may have to have it maxed, just wouldn't think so this far along in tuning. If you want to start upping the boost &/or timing and you're getting some knock, open up the controller that I put in the pocket in the front of the center console and turn the initial knob clockwise, just a bit. Then turn the blue knob back down to around the middle and try it again. The knob in the controller effects the spray even more than the blue.

Rock I had my hand on the knob , Lee was watching boost and I saw 4.5 degrees and I maxed it out on the fly just to save it. I know by then it was too late but hey.LOL Went out today after taking some good advise, changed plugs put in some NGK's @32and made 2 runs backed alky down to 5, removed the floor mat and mashed it @18#'s boost, on this junk 91 octane gas and lo and behold recall worked 02's were 765 and 767 and 0 knock..

Will probably sneak up to 20 on the stocker and see what she does! WOT timing is only 20 degrees.

Crank that thing up to 23# and 23degrees!!  :D ;)

Yeah I probably will If I don't blow the car up electrically.Went out to the garage and the fan and pump work. Eric she was used to 30 degrees plus and 20#'s on the good stuff C16 for years.:p Now I'm goin to turn her into an alcoholic . With the Turbo Tweak chip I'm sure I'll bump her up a few degrees. You mentioned adjusting the Razor controller what about adding WOT fuel via chip . Man I still have alot to learn appreciate your help. They used to say in the Oilfield son there's more then one way to skin a cat. ;) It's nice to have the adjustability available that Razor and Turbo Tweak put into their products. Still have some Tweaking to do . Remember I can't be blowing up my daily driver.

Thanks

Thanks Rick87,Roc87,Mike L,Razor, Turbo Powered 68 appreciate all your advise, been gleaning from your knowledge base. Much Obliged...;)
