Good, we need something to scare the folks that are deserving of such a death. I actually saw one that was televised, I believe in Texas some years back. They shot a guy named Gary Gilmore I believe.............yes........on television!

I concur. Lethal injection is letting someone get away with a crime. They also should bring back the chair in all 50 states. Let them feel pain before they die.

popped some a$$hole w/ injection. The pic on Fox showed the chair still sitting next to the "injection bench"...
They should offer the option, like we used to have here, in GA.
We had 2 chairs.. Wired differently:
1. Regular.
2. Extra crispy.
AIRC, Gary Gilmore was shot in Utah. His G/F asked to be "plugged" at the same squad meeting.. Don't recall if that happened, or not.

Like I've said, Quickest cheapest most accurate means of dispatching life! Make it a national policy, allow CC permit holders to sign up for civic duty too! I'll gladly pull the trigger on some scumbag who's been convicted and sentenced to death!

One bullet is cheap, why not save some money. Who on earth cares about the rights of a criminal convicted of raping/molesting/murdering kids or killing cops or simply being a killer in general. They took at least one life in some seriously horrendous way and now we have to show these people humanity? We have to make sure they are fed and taken care of for years before we then have to make sure they are "put to sleep" in the most humane way possible? Seriously, death by firing squad is to nice for these burdens on humanity. I dont care if someone in my family flipped and started offing people, screw'em, they get convicted to death, kill'em, good riddance as far as I am concerned.

I wish we didnt have such a "lets not offend anyone" majority. When it comes to capital punishment we should have levels, easy (gun to the head), Medium (electrocution), Bad (stabbing multiple times), Horrible (burned to death).

Ok, now I need to go get some fresh air.
