Deleting the PCV= good/bad?

We all know the PCV can eventually gunk up inside the TB and runners. If running open breathers on each VC, can one eliminate the PCV for a cleaner TB? Other than the smell, any drawbacks? Thanks.
 
i just have one of those cheapy small breahter filters on my pcv... and 2 big breathers on the valve covers.
 
I would get a catch can and still use it. It helps pull fresh air into the crankcase and gets the blowby gases out.
 
i ordered one of these from Rjc hav not taken the car out but its RJC stuff its got to work...:D

just below the 4inch exhaust :eek: and above the new pullies on this link vvvv

Agree with the above if its a street car. PM me if you want to make a $30 catch can from Home Depot...its works great!

Race car remove it.
