Alright i am about to make the big step from stock ECU to DFI. What kind of advantages and performance step-ups will i get. I want to put a MSD ignition with the DFI. What kind of combinations work the best.

I went from the stock ECM to a DFI with the stock ignition setup on my friends 86 for the nats (I'm taking the DFI back afterwards :D).

After a little tweaking of a file I had for the 55's, it spools faster and pulls harder than it did with the 3" LT1 MAF and modified ECM setup.

i'm ASSuming you have a T or a GN, if you do Caspers Electronics makes a plug and play harness for the DFI MAP sensor (MAF to MAP). Its great, no cutting wires! just had to Tee the vac line in for the MAP sensor.

My friend seems to like the DFI setup, i'm going to have to find another batchfire ECM I think :)
