did ANY GNs have a factory column shift in 1987. I know turbo limiteds do, I have one, but specifically grand nationals? IF they could have a column shift did they keep the center consoel even though the shifter was removed?

i believe the base interior was a 60/40 split bench with a column shift, no console.
but that might not apply to the 87 GN..

As already posted.... no.

To add my .02 though, here's what the WE2 package included as standard operating equipment.

Regal Grand National
(Option Code WE2)
Includes: 3.8-litre turbo engine with intercooler, automatic transmission with overdrive, 3.42 axle ratio; Gran Touring suspension; fast-ratio power steering; sport mirrors; turbo boost gage and tachometer; trip odometer; leather-wrapped sport steering wheel; air-conditioning; P215/65R15 Eagle GT Blackwall tires; chrome-plated steel wheels; black: bumpers, moldings, grille and exterior trim; deck lid spoiler; full-length operating console and reclining front bucket seats.

they did i believe back in 80 and 81 and they were carbed hot air turbo.
