yes we did buy many and stuffed a few away until about a year and a half ago when we sold them......including;
87 GN w/ 954 miles, never tagged or titled (We held MSO)
87 GN w/ 37 miles, Plastic still inside, decal on window, also never tagged or titled
87 GNX #103 w/ 501 miles

Hard to see them go, but having other to drive made it esier, and driving a modded GN is more fun than looking at a GNX. Also stuffed away, 1990 ZR1 rare gray color, and a 95 Impala in Gray/green, both less than 3K miles and currently for sale.

Pic 1, the 500 mile GNX when we owned it..
Pic 2 37 Mile GN w/ decal and pastic insid. (Sorry pic is fuzzy)
Pic 3 is the GNX, 954 mile GN, white Typhoon, 2k mile 1990 ZR1, and in the far back you can barely see a white Turbo T.

My good friend Mike (not on the boards) just sold his one owner '87 GN to a NJ sports team owner this past Spring. He bought the car new in May of '88 from Dearden Buick, Langhorne, PA, drove it for a year and stored it from then on. Car had a shade under 5k mileage and looked better than new....still had the plastic on the seats. He sold it for partial trade on a Yellow 2006 Z06.

cruzn57 this GN may be a replacement for the "museum" car that you have?!?

My '87 GN had 17,611 miles on it when I bought it last summer.....completely stock including tires. The original owner drove it lightly until 1996 when it had about 16.5K on it. So he only put about 100 miles a year on it since.

I just passed 20K a few weeks ago and will probably only average 1-1.5K a year. I just bought it as a fun weekend car.

It looks like you'd expect for a stock car but here's a pic anyway.....

i bought my 86gn in may of 87 i was the second owner. it had around 14,000 on it when i bought it it now has just 23,000. it would have more miles but i found out the hard way how bad it is for it just to sit. now it needs work to get it road worthy. it still has original tires, spark plugs,95% original paint still in good shape. the car has been stored inside.jeff

My car isn't really low miles, but it's pretty low. 34,000 and some.
I'm the first owner, so I know that those miles are pretty much quarter mile at a time. haha, naa...it's babied....naaa , I'm kidding it's been thrashed....
naa, just kiddin again....babied....hummmm OK, it's been down the track atleast 100 times ok...I'm sorry, I'm sorry!!!

I have had 3 low mileage cars:
1 owner 34K miles (my old show car)
3 owner 39K miles
2 owner 21K miles (original as possible)

I also have a 57K mile Limited but my favorite car is my 80K mile car that I can mod the crap out of and drive as much as it's not broke down!!!!!

We had our TTA hauled up from Myrtle Beach back in '89 w/3 miles on it. It's got a ****ping 286 on the clicker now.

My first GN ('87) was purchased from a local doctor w/14K on it back in '89. It's still with me & it's got 24K on it now, even though it has been off the road & in a million pieces since '93 :(

Way back in `99 when I decided to cash in my 401k to buy a GN, Kirban advertised an `87 GN T-top with 5,000 on the clock for less than 17k. When I talked to Dennis about this one he said it had some "odd paint specks" on the hood but was otherwise original except for the replacement Delco battery.
Alas, the weak retirement plan wouldn't cover that car and it ended up going to Michigan. Anyone know what happened to it since then?

My Gn had 98,000 on it when I bought it in 1999 and now has a little less then 108,000....

Richard Clark in NC has a GNX #??? with 5 miles on it. Still has not only the window stickers and all the plastic on everything in it but the stickers on the widow that each union department from the factory put on them. Usually all these stickers are taken off at the dealer, but it is literally just like it left the plant.

Ahhhhhhhh you remebered; just let me know when it is for sale:biggrin:
Will do. I just reloaded the pics on my site, for some reason the 10th pic looked funny once the size was reduced...here one you can drool over in the meantime :D

35,000 mile car here, all stock when I got it 6 years ago with 33,000 miles (didn't even have posi traction). Now she has gone 10's. I've spent more hours working on her and looking at her then I have driving her, but I've enjoyed every minute.
