Digital Dash Harness with Stock Engine Harness

Before I jump any more into this cars mess, Just checking. My WE4 has a digital dash and the engine harness was a mess and I found a replacement. My question is are all the engine harnesses the same? Meaning digital dash or analog dash harnesses will connect to one common engine harness? Thanks

yup, engine harness works with either , has wiring on pass fender for the analog (map sensor) and for the digital boost lamp (hobbs)

the 86 engine harness has differences from the 87 harness at the ecm connector and a couple wire colors but will still work
