digital dash to analog

Hey guys: Just ran across a Kirban modified analog dash that I got a while back. My GN(87) has the digital unit, which I don't like!! Can the dashes be switched? I have head that the wireing harness is completely different on the two different dashes. Anyone ever do this?

At the end of the thread there is a link to the wiring pin-out for both dashes.

If you are going to get rid of your digital dash I could use one as a backup.
