It has a "joystick" kinda.
All of the controls in the car are angled toward the driver. The passenger seat is there to hold the passenger only. They have no access to anything including the glovebox. Everything is aimed at driver control. It has built in telemetry and lap counter for the track. Car is super quiet until about 5500 rpm, then the valves open.
The two veins in the front grill use air pressure at high speed to actually cover the radiator inlets. This helps the car slip through the air, they are animorphic....they change shape.
Pretty neat car, but still just a car.
You can youtube the 458 all day long if you want to hear it. I will try to get some in shop clips tomorrow. Maybe even a quick blast on the test track out back.
