I had Directv from 1996 until last month. I really liked the Guide myself. If you live in an area with a lot of severe weather I would go with cable. My directv went out EVERY time we had a storm. VERY aggravating. Try watching the news concerning the location of tornadoes in the area on the ground and the TV freezes...
My son now works for Charter cable and we get the complete HD package with DVR's and all of the movie channels for next to nothing including 60 MB internet. I do not like the guide on Charter at all :biggrin:
