Do i Need a HD Wastgate

Im looking at going to the track for the first time and i was eager to try ut my race chip, the problem being i only have a std wastegate and i dont believe i can get the 25 psi out of it, can i simply cut the std one where it will allow it or am i going to have to wait for a HD

ok but this is for tomorrow, should i just hack the wastegate or just rum 93 at 15 psi? it was a short notice that some of my friends are going out there

If your installing a race chip, it likely has raised the boost for you. Read the chip and see where the chip is setting the boost. If it's not high enough for your track session, don't try rigging your boost. You may cause more harm than good. If you can open your exhaust that may help with a pound or two.
