This winter I am adding a PT54 turbo, 50lb injectors, THDP and a new converter. Will I need to get a Translator system and extender chip, or will a customs burned one be enough ?? Or do i need to upgrade to the LS1 MAF so I dont peg my stock one ?? Any suggestions ??
You don't NEED a translator to make your combo work, but you would have some extra adjustability if you went that way.
The right chip makes a world of difference.
If my MAF crapped out tomorrow that's the way I would go.
Depends how deep your pockets are.........
