Do I need to go with HD actuator ?

Upgrading with alky and ta49. Have an adjustable wasgate actuator. Will the stock one work or do I need to get an HD one ? Thanks.

It's not going to give you 30psi but it will raise boost if you tighten it. What are you looking for?

How much boost do you intend to run? A standard actuator is good for 12-22psi and the HD's good for 18-30psi.

Hey guys. Well right now I just finished installing my alky control. I'm now running my stock turbo and doing a little tuning. I'm running around 18 to 20lbs of boost. This week I will be switching out the turbo with a fresh ta49 turbo. I was thing I might need a HD actuator ????? Yes ? No ?

Should not need a HD wastegate if you already have a MBC, unless you're looking to run really high boost.

Agree. Preload the rod, ~1/8 offset and adjust via controller.
