Do LS1 rear discs clear the stock 15" GN wheels?

Like the title states, do the brakes fit behind stock wheels? I have been searching all over the web for days and get conflicting answers about 15" wheels. I am sure someone here has tried it and can tell me 100% if it does or does not work.

Thanks. What is the best rear disc setup then? I see summit sells a kit, but are there any junkyard/gm setups that work somewhat easily?

3rd gn and early 4th gen F body rear discs should clear 15" wheels.
94-96 Caprices had 15" wheels and rear discs, but had the wrong wheel bolt pattern... i did some comparing at one point, and i think it was a 2wd S10 that used a very similar setup but had the proper bolt pattern.

What novaderrik said about the f-body rear disc set ups. From the '90 through the '07 model they are aluminum PBR calipers with, IIRC, a 11-5/8" disc. The parking brake shouldn't be too difficult to set up either.

Are your rims the stock chrome gn wheels? Did you have to grind the caliper?

No there not the stock wheels I did have to grind the caliper a little
