Got the opportunity to drive the Dodge Hemi Magnum wagon. Really neat car for the guy with a family.

Very good build quality - nice features and a pretty good value. And oh yeah - it absolutely flies! I was told the curb weight is pretty close to 4,000 pounds so I would guess 1/4 mile times in the 14's.

This motor really needs a sporty and light chassis. It has greater performance potential than the LS1's so hopefully Daimler will drop it into a new retro looking "Cuda with a 6-speed.

Yeah, I'm thinking about buying one for my wife to drive. I even made a post about buying a Dodge the other day. Car and Driver managed a 13.8 out of the 300c and it's the same car as the Magnum, but just a tad lighter. Expect 14.0s out of them stock. Rumor has it the Magnum and 300c will be offered in a SRT-8 version with AWD and the 6.1 425hp Hemi due out. Expect that motor in the Charger. :)

The merger may have been one of the best things to ever happen to Dodge. The fit and finish of every one of their products I've seen is amazing. Much better than my wife's Mercury.

Those cars do look pretty neat, did you hear about the new 05 GTO, Im not a fan of the styling but this sounds pretty interesting

What’s new for 2005
LS2 6.0L engine replaces LS1
400 horsepower (295 kw)
395 lb.-ft. of torque (546 Nm)
Available hood with twin air scoops
Revised rear fascia incorporating outlets for new split dual exhaust system
Polished exhaust outlet tips
Larger brake rotors and calipers
Red-painted calipers with GTO logo on front caliper
Driver foot rest
Two new colors: blue and grey

Neat info! What is your source for this-- I'd heard the rumor, but did not know it was official.
