I'm looking at a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the V8 and quadratrack all time 4 wheel drive. My question is.. While in normal 4 high the trans shifts fine. If it is put into 4 low the trans will slip a little. Does anyone know if the 4 low has anything to do with 4 high? Does the trasfer case run off diff. gears ,from 4H to 4L? Or does it all run through the trans the same? So it might cause problems in normal 4h down the road? Thanks if anyone has some input.:)

I think is lowers the ratio in the transfer case, not the trans. Also, the quadratrck I believe is true 4 wheel drive only while going straight. IMO, I would go for the 6 instead of the 8.

Maybe this is why it is being sold?

Yeh all time 4WD. But the trans is fine in normal 4High. no slipage at all. , it slips only in 4Low.

I personally try to stay away from Jeeps,,

Wernt you supposed to get me pics of your new wheels....:(

I would stay away from any 94 model Jeep. The brake system(which they only used one year, for a good reason) is nothin but crap. If you have a problem, you wont find your part very easily, and if you do, its gonna be a bunch. Take my advise and run for the hills on this one.;)
