I don't know if this is his, but my dad ordered an SS396/325hp Camaro, in Corvette Bronze, black p-leather interior with a muncie 4spd and posi traction, with this bumble-bee stripe, hard-top and all.
I'd love to have it back, it was my dad's first new car.
They want $69,500 for this one!!!

I regret selling my first car, a '67 Firebird with a 400/ powerglide, Camaro spoiler, 5.38 posi.

The only car I regret selling is a 67 Special 4 door I used to run a few years ago. The reason I regret it is that the guy (a friend) I sold it too in Sept hired my cousin to fix it up. My cousin has a baby on the way and no time for it. I feel bad and offer to help him get it out of his garage so he can work of more important things.

My high school car and first restoration:

I paid $2400 for it and I think I sold it for $4500.

It was a pretty fun car and one of only a handful of cars I'd buy back for what I sold it for.

I still love those old A/Ms. My pops used to sell them in the early 70's and had many stories to tell. I remember pulling off parts from a Donohue Javelin that a guy was parting out in 1986 or so. The car had a straight body and by todays standards it was very restorable, he pulled the drive-train out to put it in a Gremlin. I still have the rear spoiler..any value today? Anyway, my regret is giving away my beaten 69 Super Bee to a friend who later crushed it. Back then Mopars were cheap, I mean cheaper than all other makes except AMC. Now they are at the top of the heap. I bet people will have Turbo Buick stories like this in the near future.
