I'm considering the Pypes cat back system with the Race Pro mufflers. I have stock exhaust now with a hole in the muffler but it's still pretty quiet. I don't want the car getting too loud. I tried looking for clips on this site and youtube and I didn't find anything really useful.

I will try to record a clip the next time I'm out. Overall I like the system. Economical, fits good, sound is pretty good. There is some droning though so you are aware.

x2 on all of that. I will add that I put my system on a bone stock car at the time. It picked up 4 tenths in the quarter. No kidding. And the air was alot worse also. I have uncapped it since then, and no gain. Love it. btw mine has drone at 45 mph

I just did this system but instead of the RacePro mufflers I used DynoMax VT mufflers. ZERO drone !!! The mufflers are $90.00 each but sound awesome. If anybody has a doubt about the drone contact TurboBob, I took him for a ride after the install.

They are pretty quiet at idle but do get somewhat loud at wot. I like them and don't plan on taking them off any time soon. I like the fact that they are stainless and fairly inexpensive. I haven't noticed much of a drone in my car and I drive it a lot at highway speeds.

My only complaint it that occasionally I have to get under the car and adjust the tailpipe where it goes over the axle so they don't rub on the coil springs. I have tried and tried to get them to stop working their way back over to the spring only to fail every time.

The trick for that is a small tack weld where the pipe enters the muffler. BTDT with quite a few exhaust systems. Just a small tack so that it can be easily ground off if required.
