My regal is almost ready for paint but I cant find the protective side moldings to replace the originals. Does anyone make them or should I fill the holes in and go without them? Also , is anyone selling the quarter window trim moldings and gaskets?

The rubber outside quarter window trim is part of the whole quarter window assembly. You have to replace the quarter window to replace the trim, not separate parts.

If the side moldings are like the GN(thin rubber strip down the side), they are stick on and you can still buy the stuff that is pretty close to the originals. If they are wide chrome moldings then I would probably fill the holes. I don't think you can buy them any more, but check with your local GM dealer.

Thanks for your help guys, I checked out kirbans trim and its a good option. My trim has a metal base and a black rubber piece that fits into it. It looks like I either fill the holes and eliminate the trim or fill the holes and go with the product from kirban.
