Does your wife/girlfriend think your Buick is ugly?

My wife is always reminding me that the Buick is in her words a, "Black Brick." She does not think the car is good looking at all, but she agrees it's fast and is nice to drive. It's not that she doesn't like cars. She likes my 69 Mustang much better despite the lack of air conditioning, and she would like to own a 55-57 T-Bird. Personally, I like the looks of the car. I'm curious as to how many of you get to hear the same thing from your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/imaginary friend?

My 20 y/o girlfriend always makes fun of my old man car (especially the speedo) and calls me old (I just turned 28). Brickish or not, she's into speed and likes that the car'll keep her pinned in the seat. (Keep your mind outta the gutter...you think I'd do something like that in my seats?? Wouldn't want to risk a stain or something!)

My girlfriend is 18 has a red 94 Z-28 and i am 19. She is in love with my Buick. If she wasn't, i might have had to find a new girlfriend. I let her drive it once after a lot of begging. She liked driving it too. She tells me all the time that she wants one!! Looks like i found a winner!! but the problem is that she always asks me if i like the car or her more. She thinks i like the Buick more and I have to quickly change the subject on that one.

My girlfriend, someday wife likes the GN. She wants to have it restored when we get back to the states. But more importantly she wants to drive it. Not sure if that's going to happen right away. Life is so much easier when you have a mate that isn't trying to get rid of your car.

She likes the looks, the size of the car.. she likes the fact that it's original and a classic. Not to mention the fact that it's fast. I just hope she likes the guy that came with the car.

mine hates the car. Thinks it's ugly. she's a fan of celicas/eclipses/etc
she also makes fun of me for my age. she turned 20 in november, and I'm 24. I got back at her though, called her "1/5 century" on her 20th and it hit her that SHE was old too haha. anyway I plan on popping a te45a and nice loose 3700rpm stall or so 9" converter in there and frightening the hell out of her in it one day, so that she'll understand what turbo buicks are that celicas can NEVER be.

My wife has always thought it was a old grand pa's car, I tell her that I love the car and I even built a shop just for it so it can stay dry and warm. She doesn't understand it, but I need it real bad!!!

My wife loves my car that's why she's got one too (white T-type). Sold a 95 Pontiac Formula cause it was'nt as fast as the TR's. If a woman really loves you it should'nt matter what you drive. My wife drove an S-10 Blazer when I meet her...did'nt matter, still loved her. It was her idea to get the Chevelle too...great woman or what?
