What girlfriend?? Who needs one of those when you have a Buick?? LOL, but seriously, Ive had a few that loved them, a few that hated them. Either way, when I go somewhere, a majority of the females have no clue what it is.....

Well mine likes the car,but hates my GNX wheels.She calls them hubcap looking and wants me to put the stock GN wheels back on it. Though at the track she thinks its boring and quiet,she loves the fact that I just bought a 71 Stage1 this past feb.Now shes pissed that I`m doing the car SA[stock appearing] and not putting headers on it. She wants it loud with a big cam in it....not gonna happen,quiet and fast is what its gonna be.

8587GN, your wife/ gf? is definately rare since she likes loud cars. Even though my wife is not a GN fan, she still likes the fact that it is quiet, but still hauls azz! I have to agree though. I love loud cars, but it gets old after awhile when you own one. If I want loud, I can always open the dump.

I wouldn't worry about what any chick says about my car. Most women have lousy taste in cars anyway. The TR is lacking the "cute" factor they seem to love so much. If they hate your TR, consider the source and regard her derogatory comments as complementary.

I've got some pics, Chris but the motor's not in it yet. So it just looks like your typical '36 sedan (with a 3" choptop )! More to come in the near future. I've also got one for sale in the "Cars for Sale" section if you or your Dad might know someone who'd be interested.

Thanks for the heads up Richard. I'll let my father know. I didn't see the ad in the cars for sale, unless it wasn't on the top few pages. Perhaps I'll buy it for gn85girl. That way she doesn't have to worry about the promotional scheme of the GN.

Actually, I have to hand gn85girl credit. She takes a lot of interest in the car because she knows that's my interest. When we first met, she swore she wouldn't have anything to do with cars. Now she begs to take the truck off-roading and doesn't even mind coming out in the garage and getting her hands dirty from time to time.

Now that I think about it, maybe the order goes from, front seat then being promoted to the back!
