Don't Deal With Gbody Parts

[Just One 87]

First off let me start by saying I am thankful I did not place a big order with gbody parts. Whoever is running it does not know how to do business.

Here's the story,

I inquire about a driver side seat belt guide for my 87 gn. I tell him mine has scratches and I want to replace mine with a 'PERFECT' one. So he says they have one I paypal them 30 something dollars and wait. The seat belt guide i got was wayyyy worst than my original one.

So I send him pictures of the one he sent me, and he said he was not the one who sent the item, he will get me a good one asap. I said ok well since you are making it right I also need ONE PERFECT CONDITION UNSCRATCHED AC VENT. I have 1 that has some of the reflective material missing. So i paypal him $17 for the ac vent and he is supposed to ship the new seat belt guide with it. A couple days later the package arrives the seat belt guide is perfect, wheww thanks. The AC VENT however has a lot of the reflective material missing WTH it's worst than my original one. So i take pictures and email him and tell him thanks for the seat belt guide but this ac vent is horrible whats the deal.

So he told me he would send me another one. He told me on 5/14/09 that it was shipped yesterday. I am still yet to receive anything in the mail and he has not returned any my last 10 emails. Now I know it's only 17 bucks who cares but it's the principle. Also it is literally the last part I am waiting on before i put my GN up for sale.

I filed a claim thru paypal and they immeadiately dismissed it saying they can't issue a refund, only if an item isn't shipped. Which i clearly showed in an email saying he was shipping a replacement which he never did, GEE what a wonderful day.

So anyway I just like to say GBODY PARTS :frech::rant:

Brian is one of the best around, PERIOD! You are too worried about running to the internet to bash someone than to actually take a look around and see what's going on. I hope you apologize to Brian for your original post. I know he will make it right when he gets back.

I wasn't aware of that, I'm sorry to hear what has happened.

However he had told me he mailed the replacement on the 5/13 and I never received a tracking number, a part, or a response since then.

This is getting out of control!!!

As a proud supporting Vendor here I have seen WAY too many posts here that didn't need to be posted in the first place. Come on people, You have got to use the phone & E-mail a little more and Stop Jumping on here to Bash a vendor so Quickly!

What I see here is people are coming here "To bash a vendor and To get a resolution" instead of trying to get a "Resolution WITH the Vendor" before bashing...

Proper way to handle issues:

1) Call Business to let him know of issues.
2) NO ANSWER? Call back until you reach someone!
3) Send Vendor E-mails.
4) Have some understanding if there are Personal issues!
5) Be patient and give the business some time to make things right!

Bottom line here is- You need to exhaust every effort to solve an issue with ANY place of business before coming into a public forum to smear mud over a business's name..
Once you have exhausted every effort to resolve your issue then you have a viable reason to come to a public forum to warn others of this issue/business.


Sorry for my rant but this is getting WAY OUT OF HAND! I wish something could really be done to prevent this kind of action....

Yep a simple screw up on my part. A phone call should have cleared this mess up instead all I recieved is nameless e-mails fowarded to me. Sorry for your inconvenience.
