Sorry about putting this in here, but i dont know where to put this. Does any of you know where to get the door pins WITH the rollers? The dealers are saying the hinges are discontinues, and arent showing any parts for them. I REALLY need them. Let me know.

I'm assuming your looking for G-body parts here. The rollers are discontinued but you can use the rollers from a 1st gen S-10. The part numbers are:
Roller 20058035
Pin 20262500
Those pins are hard to remove and sometimes snap off. New hinges are still available too. The part numbers are:
LH Upper 20569461
RH Upper 20569460
Lower 20323900 same for both doors
They are a little pricey so looking for a good enough set down at the bone yard might be a better option. Even if the bushings and pins are worn they can still be cheaper to rebuild in the long run.You can find the pins and bushing kits down at AutoZone on the HELP! rack or any GM dealer.

I have found the pin and bushings at advance auto parts for 5 bucks a pin with the bushings. If I got those from advance, or.....

Ok, im confusing myself here. Can I just get the roller and pins both that are from an s10 with those part numbers, and work perfectly fine? They are the same size and everything? Will they also still allow the door to line up perfectly?

Please let me know. And thanks for the help so far. I REALLY appreciate it.

Those part numbers are for the roller on the spring loaded hold open. The roller is the same diameter the only difference is the width that the lever rides against on the roller. The S-10 one is a tad wider and shouldn't make a difference. There is a pin that runs down the middle of the roller and into the hinge and they are usually in there pretty good.

Changed them in the 86 GN before it was totaled. What a PIA. I think it would have been easier to change the hinges.

6appeal, what was a pita about it? Just curious. What did you have to do to get them off?

Had to use a cutoff wheel and zawsaw to cut the pins since the pins were not moving. After getting them cut down I was able to punch them out with a big hammer and punch. I ended up chipping the paint on one of the doors and the A pillar. I also ended up having to cut a coil off the springs to get them back in and that was with using the Snap-on tool made to get the springs in and out. Like I said major PIA.

Its a lot easier if you take the hinges off. Its still a PITA to do that but at least you have a lot of room to work with. Its hard to do it one hinge at a time to keep your door alignment so figure in spending a couple of hours realigning the door too. Unless you can figure out an accurate way of marking the hinges on the door and pillar.
