Brian, your t-top seals are the closest and if taking the time to install means night and day of the finished product. I personally tested Fairchilds numerous attempts to get their product correct. They are close and they fit good but I think the seal is still to hard.

The t-top seal we sell is carried by very few vendors. Only 2 I know of to get it unless I go over seas direct. Our kit is 3 different manufacturers for 6 seals.
Working with LKQ we decided why go thru the middle man? Create our own that we like off GM seals & go with what works.
Even GM seals with the white powder on them from GM sucked. I had more returns on those back in the day then I have ever had with what we have now.

There is a whole other thread I just read about on my t-top seals suck. Well a few vendors carry our t-top seals with no returns. We sell at least 200 sets of T-top seals a year & I worked my but off to get the best ones out there for every one. I hate reading well no I didn't contact Brian but the seal was hard & I glued it in. If a manufacturer made a POS & I spend what I do with them why would I not go to bat & stand behind it myself.
I think I am going to make a video on the correct way to install these.
1 vendor I spoke with stated how to install these & was 100% incorrect. I am not mentioning that company.

No problem Brian, It's water under the bridge. I understand what you mean, I've seen it quite a few times, Like i said it's trial and error i guess. I just want you to come out with a quality door seal so that it will put a end to it once and for all. How long before your's are ready? I would like to be your first customer.
Thanks Tony

Tony I had already planned on sending you our first set. Miguel is going to get a set & then another shop I have no connection with. I want feed back.
What I really need now is 1 more set of NOS door seals. I am buying if some one is selling. We had 1 set destroyed to make the mold. I failed it. So now I need another set to do modifications to the mold.

Can I put trans fluid on mine to blow them up? Cause my windows got smaller.

I agree with onefastgn. I put the Metro door seals on my '87 Grand National and the fit was fantastic....that was four years ago, and they are still on there nice and tight...no rips, tears, nor coming apart anywhere.....I was very impressed with the fit of them. No problem installing, and I'm an amateur on everthing:p . For the T-Tops, though, I bought a set of GM T-Top weatherstrips before they stopped making them. Have not put them on yet, but I was told to get them as they are the best fit. I could not find GM door weatherstrips at the time for some reason. I'm sure Brian will come up with great fitting seals for our cars, as he always goes out of his way to ensure we get top quality stuff.

But onefastgn is speaking from 15 years experience also. It's good hear opinions from two very important professionals on this forum. Helps all of us very much.

Do you want to sell the T-Top seals? I have another one comming in next and need the real deal. Thanks

I can honestly say you coundn't pay me enough to do Brian's job, I feel for him sometimes with all the frustrations about parts and dealing with customers day in and day out. I figure that's why we like to drink alot in the evening...lol. But fortunately he does do it, and seems to come through with some good products. Thanks Brian

I don't have any customer's, but, I like to drink alot in the evening too! ;)

I ordered the all the rubbers from metro, and the doors took a little work but it was the roof rails that continue to kick my ass! Finally got my doors to shut, but now can't roll down power windows because they are in such a bind. The mold doesn't seem very consistent either. I will need a new set of roof rails because I went a little far with the shaving and shaping
