After playing aroud i have found out the dos 1.405 software can be corrupted in the tables over time.
If you adjust the base cell width or map sensor to 2-3 bar or3-2 bar settings the ve map will not reflect the new rpm changes and kpa settings .
I had to reinstall the software and its fine, but i think this is caused by disconnecting the laptop while the ecm is online and doing this many times eventually causes corruption.
I suggest you go offline then turn the ignition off or before you disconnect the laptop connection.
