This is driving me up the wall!
I need to know what i am supposed to type to make DOS work.
Every time i try to modify my program i get a TIME OUT ERROR.
When i try to start dos,i am prompted to type something in so it works..........but what????????????

For what its worth i have gn 6 6.0 software.

The time out error is being caused because the ECM and laptop are not communicating on the right port.

Check the COM port settings.

Ok good news,i downloaded 6.32 software and changed my port to hardware.
Finally works.......i think i had bad software among other problems!
Added some fuel to the fuel map and lowered the idle rpms and the car runs with out stalling.
Battery went dead so i had to boost it to get started.
Is this where the fun begins?

Took the car out,had to make more adjustments and the car pulls real hard!!

Very happy with the DFI!!

Did you get that software working that I sent or did you find another copy?

Hi Dave,

For some reason i could not open it.
I went to White Racing and downloaded a copy from there.
The original calmap was ng!
I had to add fuel in the base fuel map,adjust my idle,add fuel at the vic and adjust my stall saver.
Car runs good now!
I got a few hours sleep last night and woke up real early in the morning and started fresh!
It took me 30 min just to drive it down the drive way,i'm sure i woke up the neibours.......oh well LMAO.
After i made adjustments to get it driving i made 4 passes at 20psi....full throttle..........I AM VERY HAPPY!
