Just got my motor redone. Steel mains,aluminum TA heads, roller cam, t70 turbo,FMIC, ect. I have a complete hooker competition header exhaust, headers, mufflers. I just purchase a DP 2 1/2" Hooker w/ external wastegate (Great deal and shipping) on the forum. My question is, I now have a 2 1/2" DP and a turbonetics evolution wastegate. Is this set up going to hurt my performance? The wastegate comes with different springs, I put the 9lb. What exactly will this 9 lb. spring do? I am not familiar with external wastegates, but as you all know Hooker headers don't like many DP's. I appreciate all you input.
