Drag Radials II

Thanks for all the response on the Drag Radials. Sounds like the Nitto's might be the way to go. Hooks almost as good but last a lot longer and better in the rain.

What size 275/50/15 or 275/60/15? (Stock 15x7 wheels)

Does anyone have the height and contact width of both?

Ok 275/50/15's that shoudl be 26.1 inches tall and 10" of tread width but a total of 11" of width
275/60/15 are the same except for the width i think its someting like 9"

I could be wrong but not by that much lol

I think the 275/60-15's are closer to 28" tall, not 26".

275/60 = 28"
275/50 = 26"

28" = best for low 12's or faster cars
26" = best for mid 12's or slower cars

I put 245/50 16's on my car with weld pro star xp wheels. Looks great and hooks great have yet to test since I am waiting on a motor rebuild, then the fun wil begin.

I'm selling my Nitto's if your interested. 275-50-15. Practically new, less than 1k miles and no burnouts. I need a 28" tall tire big time.
