A 15x8 with a 4" backspacing is the best fit.3.5 WILL HIT THE OUTSIDE LIP AND THE 4.5 WILL HIT THE FRAME.I had all three on my car but i no all cars are different so thats all i can tell you.Good luck:biggrin:
I had MT drag radials on my factory (15x7) 87 GN wheels with no issues. I had aluminum drums on there. They were 275/50/15's (26"tall) which are a little wider than the 275/60/15's (28" tall)
You should be fine
Some cars rub, and some don't. As said. An 8" rim with a 4" BS seems to be the best fit for a 275/60/15 tire. If your car rubs, things can be corrected. Here's what I had to do on my car. I know that my car is lowered. However, many non-lowered cars rub worse than mine. The fix is the same.
with factory steel wheels, no rolled lips or anything. It was a very tight fit, but it didnt rub at all with the aluminum drums.
Another guy I know used a washer on each wheel stud to clear, and still no rolled lip.
