I know that this question has probibly been asked before, but since I am still pretty new to this Hot Air stuff, I have to ask.
What is the best way to install the turbo oil drain pipe so that it is fully in the grommet and so that it won't leak. Yesterday I fiddled with the @#$%@$ drain pipe all day and can't seem to get the drain pipe fully inserted into the grommet. Please help!!!

Thanks for the reply Nick. Now I don't want to seem like an ignoramus, I'm not so sure on the step by step procedure. What gets attached first? What I was doing was attaching the drain pipe to the turbo first.

I fooled around with it and just ended up putting the bottom end in first then have the top end of the drain on the turbo then mount it. Just fool with it for a little while you will get it........encouraging words hey?:D

I do not like the idea of the rubber line...for me I simply picked up a 86/87 TR oil drain hose. I cut off the nut, and after doing that it looks like one from the 84/85 cars only you get an added 2" of metal line.

To install with the now longer line strech it all the way out, slide it into the grommit hole, and then simply bolt up the Turbo.

Exactly. The extra 2" makes a ton of difference and there's a lot of used 87 tubes around.
