Now I don't consider myself a heavy drinker but I like a few from time to time like anybody else. So last night after a few too many, I called Jegs and got some drag shocks and other small goodies for my T-type. Now I remember the call fine but I'm not sure the part numbers came out clearly. Oh well, it could be worse...It'll kinda be like Christmas morning opening the package when I'm not real sure whats inside. Anyway, just thought I'd share this rather strange encounter and ask if anyone has done this before. Any bets as to what I may of ordered by mistake??? as long as it not some ricer car crap I'll be ok with it.

i thought everyone searched ebay and posted on turbobuick half blitzed?

im sure when you ordered your parts you made darned sure he knew you owned a T-TYPE, surely he knew it was a G-BODY :)

i liek bere aslo;)

I thought it was just me that did that. You know how when you drink that ugly girl looks a lot better? Same thing with spending money on car parts that should best be spent on things like, oh I don't know, food for example.

I've wound up with some pretty expensive stuff after pounding a few brews.

I don't drink anymore. Seriously.

Thats funny,lmao.............i think i will have a few today and maybe it will get me going ,so i will order some parts i have been holding off on! lol

Maybe I should not keep my phone, and parts catalog near a fridge full of beer!

I had similar problems coming home from a night out drinking with friends and hopping on Ebay. Some of the things I bought include:
A signed copy of Burt Renyolds autobiography
A "Suicidal Tendencies" light switch cover
and oh yeah......my TR :p

just to name a few ;)

You are Definately not the first or the last to do the drink & order
over the net!! As long as its car parts for the GN who cares!
At least the wife was along for the ride when I did it!!
Now she cant say anything about the (Man those look cool!) parts we got! As long as its a few hundred & not 10 times that!:D

That must be why a coupon for a free case of beer was included with my latest Kenne-Bell catalog! :p I wish that Bowling Green customs would have done the same thing years ago. At least I would have been drunk before they gave me the shaft!

I have found that the more tipsy (I never get drunk) I am the more I NEEEEDDD to order that bigger turbo.. But while I contemplate the idea I sober up enough to remove the thought. I finally made a promise to never order parts while I'm drunk, er tipsy otherwise I would have all kinda parts still laying around..lol

I just shat myself. Gawd, that's hilarious...

In any case...I spent a year and a half in phone sales at Summit Racing in 95-96. The last year of that was third shift, where I was the only phone sales/tech person there. I used to get regulars who were drunk off their @$$ all the time. Some of my best sales. ;)
